Turning to a therapist is one of the bravest things a person can do, and I view my time with you, the client, as sacred work in your journey to healing, wholeness, and self-awareness. I will always bring understanding, kindness, and, humor, when appropriate, to build a positive rapport in our counseling relationship. Over the past 16 years, I have had the privilege of starting my career as a parent educator, moving into various roles in adoption and foster care, to a sexual assault therapist, Home Based Therapist with Community Mental Health, to most recently as a clinician with a small private group practice. These opportunities have allowed me to learn a great deal about people, trauma, resiliency, and the power of therapy. I believe everyone can heal from deep wounds, move through life transitions successfully, rebuild relationships, and tame symptoms of anxiety and depression. One of my greatest joys is to witness the progress clients make. They are able to see that their life is better, they are stronger, their relationships have improved, and they are fully living!
